  • Contribute to business growth strategies, including identification and development of new project opportunities and emerging technologies.

  • Support proposal development efforts, including scope definition, level-of-effort estimates, and execution planning.

  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and professional development support to junior and mid-level engineering staff.

  • Anticipate technical and project delivery challenges while effectively managing stakeholder expectations and project risks.

  • Participate in Owner's Engineer, contract management, technical advisory, and due diligence assignments as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in electrical engineering design and/or consulting.

  • Majority of professional experience supporting utility and power projects.

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state (required), with the ability to obtain licensure in additional states as project needs dictate.

  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, win work, and deliver innovative, value-driven engineering solutions.

  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing junior technical staff.

  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.

  • Willingness to travel as required to support project needs (typically less than 25%).

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of two days per week onsite at the Fort Worth, TX office or client location. Fully remote work is not considered.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Willingness to transition to a direct-hire role upon successful completion of the contract period.
