For more information about KFI Engineers and our culture, please visit www.kfi-eng.com.Position Overview & Responsibilities The Senior Electrical Engineer (IV) plays a key role in the successful execution of projects from start to finish. This individual will provide technical and engineering excellence, as well as successful delivery of work to our customers. The Senior Electrical Engineer (IV) is responsible for a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and managed. The successful candidate will also contribute to a dynamic team environment by being proactive, communicating clearly to all stakeholders, and modeling a highly collaborative working environment. This person will also actively support the business development process through the writing of proposals and meeting with prospective and current customers.Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to,:Assist with the design of one or more of the following: power distribution systems (primary requirement), size motor feeders and starters.Support the design of building power and lighting systems. Includes the design of special systems, such as ground fault, lightning protection, emergency generator, UPS, etc.Prepare engineering documents and equipment specifications to meet contracted scope of work and to ensure application of Electrical Engineering Principles.Assist with performing voltage drop and short-circuit calculations.
