Senior Electrical Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities
- ✅ Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for medium to large projects, ensuring full compliance with industry codes and client specifications.
- ✅ Serve as the primary discipline lead or project manager, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project milestones.
- ✅ Apply advanced knowledge of QA/QC procedures to review engineering deliverables, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- ✅ Mentor and develop junior staff and team members, fostering technical growth and adherence to best practices.
- ✅ Contribute to technical writing efforts and proposal development, supporting business development and client relationships.
- ✅ Conduct peer reviews and ensure that all electrical designs integrate seamlessly with architectural and mechanical systems.
- ✅ Maintain active communication with clients and regulatory authorities to resolve complex technical issues.
What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is required. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) may be considered based on extensive experience.
- 9 to 20 years of progressive experience in the AEC industry, with a specific focus on healthcare or higher education projects.
- Advanced proficiency with industry standard engineering software platforms and tools.
- Deep knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and QA/QC protocols for construction and design services.
- Preferred: Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams, training staff, and delivering mentorship.
- Preferred: Strong technical writing skills with a track record of contributing to successful project proposals.
- Preferred: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, collaborative consulting environment.
