    Description

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    Salary:$140,000-$200,000 + equity

    Location: Hawthorne, CA (On-site 5 days/week)

    Headcount: 1

    Relocation Package: Yes (Case-by-case basis)

Visa Sponsorship: No (Must be a US Resident due to ITAR restrictions)

    The Opportunity

Success Matcher Recruitment is proud to partner with a pioneering hardware company that is redefining the future of industrial production. Our client is building a next-generation, autonomous metal 3D printing factory platform driven by real-time Machine Learning.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer who is a first-principles builder. This isn't a role for someone who wants to "maintain" systems; this is for the engineer who wants to own the full lifecycle of custom electronics that power high-speed sensing, data acquisition, and compute-heavy control systems. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where the path is often ambiguous, we want to talk to you.

    What You’ll Do

Architect & Build: Design, integrate, and deploy custom electronics for a massive-scale autonomous factory platform.

Full Lifecycle Ownership: Drive hardware from initial requirements and component selection through schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping, and productionization.

High-Performance Compute: Build the electrical backbone for systems involving FPGAs and GPUs where timing and throughput are critical.

System Validation: Develop lab test setups to debug complex, system-level issues, taking designs from the bench to the field with high confidence.

Collaborate: Work in a low-ego, cross-functional environment alongside mechanical, software, and ML teams to "build the plane while flying it."

    Required Qualifications

Experience: 3–8 years of experience designing and developing complex electrical hardware from scratch.

Industry Background: Proven track record in high-intensity sectors such as Robotics, New Aerospace, Electric Vehicles (EV), or Semiconductors.

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in schematic design, layout, circuit analysis, and high-speed data acquisition or motion control.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. (Note: A GPA of 3.5+ is required for those within 5 years of graduation).

Compliance: Must be a US Resident (Green Card or Citizen) due to ITAR restrictions.

    Preferred Attributes

    • Experience with heavy compute stacks (FPGAs/GPUs).

    • A "hacker" mindset—the ability to troubleshoot the unexpected and move quickly without rigid processes.

    • A passion for first-principles engineering and solving problems that have never been solved before.
