Join our Advanced Manufacturing group as an Electrical Engineer, where you'll contribute to the success of our clients' data center facilities through engineering, design, and construction. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects involving the engineering and design of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. The position is flexible in the U.S., with an opportunity to work remotely or from one of our offices across the country.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design work and contribute to team technical collaboration.
  • Perform quality reviews of design packages and assist with the design process.
  • Interact with clients, owners, and contractors to support on-site construction.
  • Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
  • Engineer and design power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems for data center facilities.
  • Design retrofit systems for existing buildings to meet evolving client requirements.
  • Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 6 years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with industrial facility design.
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
  • Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
  • Ability to lead a team of Electrical Engineers.
  • Experience with Data Center or AI Factory projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of data center facility design experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Passionate about buildings and construction.
  • Experience in the design of large projects on greenfield sites.

Schedule

This position is remote, with no requirement to work from a office, but office space is available for those who prefer an office environment.
