We also offer a hybrid work schedule to support a healthy work-life balance and personal wellbeing.We have an excellent opportunity for a Sr. Electrical Engineer to be responsible for the preparation and correctness of electrical power and distribution systems, including equipment specifications, electrical system studies, schematics and wiring diagrams, power and lighting plans, grounding plans, and compliance with schedule and budget.Responsibilities:Provides calculations, power system analyses, studies and specifications of equipment and materials to support technical documents and project needsPlans, develops and coordinates discipline engineering activities from initiation to completionResponsible for all aspects of the project detailed electrical system designResponsible for assigning staff to projectsResponsible for meeting discipline schedule and budgetProvides technical assistance to discipline staffResponsible for checking and sealing final discipline documentsQualifications:Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent educationProfessional Engineering (PE) registration required10 to 15 years of experience in engineering design as a project lead engineerElectrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP) knowledgeField work experiencePetrochemicals, Refinery and/or Phosphate experience strongly preferredExperience developing and owning engineering reports, creating and documenting engineering calculations, and summary reportsFront-end Engineering experience to include the development of Feasibility and Conceptual design studies, Frontend Engineering Design (FEED) Packages, Basis of Design, one-line & three-line diagrams, load list, short circuit analysis, protective coordination, power studies (greenfield and brownfield), power integration and plansProject Execution experience such as detailed Design, electrical equipment specifications, datasheets, selection reports to support switch gear, VFDs, softstarters; experience with Allen Bradley requiredOperations experience such as capacity upgrades, operational troubleshooting, and facility engineeringProficient with technical software applications, including MS Office and Google WorkspaceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorshipAdditional Information:This position is based in Tampa, Florida.
