Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager | Fort Lauderdale, FL | $120K
We're seeking a dynamic Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex MEP and power systems projects in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This hybrid role is ideal for a technical leader who can drive electrical design, manage projects end-to-end, and build strong client relationships.
What You'll Do:

Lead electrical design for commercial, multifamily, and industrial projects (power distribution, lighting, low-voltage)

Manage full project lifecycle: scope, schedule, budget (P&L), and deliverables

Perform and review load calculations, one-line diagrams, and specifications

Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and Florida Building Code

Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural teams for integrated MEP solutions

Serve as primary client contact, leading meetings and driving project success

Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration

Mentor junior engineers and support team development
What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in electrical engineering and project management (MEP or power systems)

Strong background in electrical design, power distribution, and building systems

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and project management tools

Experience managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- PE license preferred (or in progress)

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
