Position Summary: The Senior Electrical Engineers primary role will be to develop engineering solutions to a variety of engineering problems including electronic circuit design, debug, and implementation. This role will work as part of our R&D Team to define solutions and opportunities that drive business performance and growth for Stereotaxis technologies.
Essential Responsibilities: • Design and develop new products and enhance existing platforms in alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities include system architecture development, mixed signal PCB design, electronic cabinet design, and cable/harness design for use in a medical environment. • Produce design documentation, ensuring products can be effectively manufactured, tested, serviced, and supported throughout their lifecycle. • Support system-level verification and validation activities, including system acceptance testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation. • Lead system level engineering analysis, performing testing, data interpretation, and problem solving to ensure product functionality, safety, and long term reliability. • Serve as a primary technical representative for manufacturing and field service, providing guidance across the full product lifecycle. Investigate field and production issues, identify root cause, and implement design or documentation updates to improve manufacturability, maintainability, and reliability.
