OVERVIEW
Veeco's next generation semiconductor manufacturing platforms depend on a rare combination of precision motion control, industrial automation, and custom electronic hardware. The challenge is not simply controlling a machine or designing a circuit board. It is creating tightly integrated electrical systems that deliver nanometer-scale accuracy, high equipment uptime, and consistent production performance in some of the world's most demanding manufacturing environments. Veeco continues to invest in advanced semiconductor process technologies, including laser annealing, advanced packaging, deposition, and related manufacturing systems, where precision control and hardware innovation are critical differentiators.
As a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer, you will own the electrical architectures that translate complex process requirements into production-ready equipment used by leading semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. You will work across the full electrical stack, from custom printed circuit board (PCB) design and embedded electronics to Beckhoff programmable logic controller (PLC) architectures, motion-control systems, safety systems, and machine automation. Your work will directly influence system performance, manufacturability, reliability, and customer success while shaping foundational technologies used across future Veeco platforms.
