Senior Electrical Engineering Project Discipline Lead: Gas Power GenerationWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering discipline lead to guide large teams in detailed engineering studies, modelling, and design for utility‑scale gas power generation assets. The role focuses on end‑to‑end life‑cycle services—from concept through detailed design to execution—while supporting program delivery, client relationships, and strategic project development.ResponsibilitiesLead remote, multidisciplinary teams of electrical engineers in detailed studies, modelling, and design for utility‑scale power generation projects.Collaborate with Technical Leadership, Operations, Client Account Managers, and sales teams on strategic pursuits and portfolio development.Develop concept‑level plans and solutions, then advance them through detailed design to support full execution of the project.Manage complex, multi‑disciplinary projects with scope durations of 6 months to 2 years and engineering fees over $10 M.Anticipate challenges, provide strategic guidance, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, value‑adding solutions for clients and the firm.Mentor and develop junior staff while maintaining independent, project‑focused leadership.QualificationsBachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related discipline.At least 10 years of electrical engineering design and consulting experience with EPC firms, utilities, independent power producers, large‑scale consultants, OEMs, or developers.Proven project management of complex scopes, multi‑disciplinary teams, and engineering schedules lasting between 6 months and 2 years.Strong client‑engagement skills with a track record of winning work and delivering innovative solutions.Ability to work independently on a variety of tasks while providing guidance and mentorship.Experience with strategic, exploration, concept, and development planning for new project opportunities, including emerging technologies.Proficiency in concept and developed design optimization programs to guide technical decision making.Excellent communication and technical writing skills.Additional QualificationsProfessional Engineering License.Experience with power distribution systems and microgrids.Knowledge of HV or MV substations.Experience with gas power utility‑scale projects, including simple cycle, combined cycle, and related arrangements.Power system modelling using SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar software.Experience in protection and control, DCS, or power system automation.Familiarity with thermal utility plants and distribution systems (steam, hot water, chilled water).BenefitsHealth, dental, vision, and basic life insurance; 401(k) plan with company match; discounted company stock; unlimited U.S. personalized paid time off (PPTO); seven paid holidays; caregiver leave; merit increases and performance discretionary bonus opportunities.Base salary range: $169,500.00 to $296,500.00, based on location and qualifications.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
