Job Details

Our client is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and driven Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their team.

This individual will be responsible for managing multiple high-profile electrical construction projects, from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a background in electrical construction, industrial, data center, and design-build processes. This role requires an individual who is comfortable with relocating and who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The Senior Electrical Project Manager will be instrumental in strategic planning, budgeting, cost control, estimation, purchasing, and fostering client relationships.

** Must be willing to relocate to Nevada **

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee multiple complex electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Develop and implement project strategies and plans, including risk mitigation proposals and project schedules.
3. Review and monitor project costs, ensuring the most efficient use of resources and identifying potential cost savings.
4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes.
5. Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring effective communication among team members.
6. Conduct project estimation and purchasing activities, ensuring the procurement of necessary materials and services.
7. Oversee all aspects of design-build processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical construction projects.
8. Handle any project-related issues, making strategic decisions to resolve problems and mitigate risks.
9. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
10. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing ground-up, industrial, and data center projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design-build processes and electrical systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading project teams.
  • Excellent client relationship skills, with the ability to understand and meet client needs.
  • Strong budgeting and cost control skills, with the ability to manage project finances effectively.
  • Experience in project estimation and purchasing.
  • Excellent strategic planning abilities, with the ability to foresee potential issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
