We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our vibrant team. As a part of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing large-scale electrical construction projects from conception to completion. You will be the driving force behind project planning, budgeting, and implementation, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role demands a high level of responsibility and offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team of professionals, while also being hands-on in the execution of projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead project planning and implementation, including defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Oversee and coordinate the efforts of the project team, which may include engineers, architects, and construction workers.
  • Review project plans and specifications, making recommendations for improvements when necessary.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders, clients, and senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, and report issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients from concept to delivery to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with construction management software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, and legal requirements.
  • Advanced understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent budgeting skills with a proven track record of delivering projects within budget.
  • Experience in commercial and mission-critical projects is a plus.
