We are seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead the hands-on design, development, testing, and production of high-power inverter, battery energy storage, and power conversion systems for commercial and industrial applications. The ideal candidate is an experienced product development engineer with a proven track record of designing, building, troubleshooting, and launching complex power electronics hardware from concept through production.

Requirements:

- Lead the complete product development lifecycle, including power topology selection, schematic design, PCB layout, prototype development, testing, validation, and production release.
- Design, develop, and integrate high-power bidirectional inverter/charger systems and battery-connected power converters for commercial and industrial applications.
- Develop embedded firmware, perform hardware bring-up, troubleshoot complex power electronics systems, and validate designs using laboratory test equipment and simulation tools.
- Design and optimize high-voltage power electronics, including transformers, magnetics, PCB layouts, power devices, and mixed-signal circuits while ensuring thermal performance and reliability.
- Create engineering documentation, test procedures, manufacturing specifications, and support Design for Manufacturing (DFM), regulatory compliance, and field quality initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust, production-ready products that meet performance, safety, and customer requirements.

- Must have 10+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and releasing high-power power electronics products from concept through production.
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required; MSEE preferred) with extensive experience in hardware-based product development.
- Must have proven experience designing bidirectional inverter/charger systems, battery energy storage interfaces, high-voltage power conversion, and embedded power electronics.
- Must have hands-on expertise with high-power PCB layout, magnetics design, IGBT/MOSFET power stages, Microchip PIC/dsPIC microcontrollers, and embedded C programming.
- Must have advanced troubleshooting and validation experience using oscilloscopes, DVMs, differential probes, LTspice (or equivalent), and laboratory test equipment to diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
