Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field a plus8+ years of industry experience as an electronics or maintenance technician in renewable energy, semiconductor process equipment, nuclear technology, or high-energy systems environmentExperience in the prototyping, build, test, and maintenance of complex, high power electronicsBroad knowledge of high-voltage, high-current power supplies and RF systemsAbility to troubleshoot systems and down to component level of PCBsHands-on experience with oscilloscope, multimeter, signal analyzers, etc.Previous exposure to PLCs is a plus (any type of PLC, no brand preference)Responsibilities:Assist in the build and installation of electronics, components, and assemblies for research systems upgradesSupport the R&D team by troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating custom and off the shelf componentsRead schematics, diagrams, bill of materials, and assembly instructions to guide diagnostics for equipment failures.
