Senior Electronic Technician
Our client is a dynamic young company and a leader in some of the most high-growth technology areas over the next couple of decades. Due to expansion, we are seeking a senior electronic technician. Great opportunity to join a solid team and to be an integral part of the engineering team.
This highly visible position will report directly to the Director of Engineering. A successful candidate will possess strong electronic circuitry, troubleshooting, and testing skills. Excellent time management and communication skills and being a self-starter are required.
Compensation package includes base salary, generous benefit package and RSUs.
Responsibilities:
- Setup, configure and maintain equipment used in the product testing lab.
- Monitor equipment under test ensuring availability for remote users.
- Setup and configure hardware and fixturing.
- Effectively communicate status of active equipment configurations.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing configurations.
- Rework electrical and mechanical devices including wiring and component replacement.
- Mechanical fabrication of test fixtures including rudimentary woodworking and metalworking.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant work experience
- Electronic and mechanical skills; Electronic background is more applicable.
- Experience in a lab/testing environment.
- Experience with PCB rework of fine-pitch SMT components. J-STD cert a plus.
- Associate degree
