The role is highly hands-on and laboratory focused, with direct involvement in prototype preparation, circuit-level testing, environmental testing, and product validation.

Work model: Fully onsite in Fridley, Minnesota
Standard business hours, 40 hours per week
Hands-on exposure to electronic product development, troubleshooting, validation, and engineering laboratory operations
Opportunity to work closely with engineers on prototype hardware, root cause investigations, and product testing
How You Will Make An Impact
Assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic components, PCB assemblies, and related systems.
Perform surface-mount soldering and component rework, including fine-pitch electronics.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and test documentation.
Conduct hardware testing using oscilloscopes, power supplies, AC/DC sources and loads, signal generators, data acquisition systems, and other laboratory instrumentation.
Prepare prototypes and test samples by installing probes, fabricating wire harnesses, and building test fixtures.
Conduct thermal and environmental testing using environmental chambers.
Support EMI/EMC testing and established electrical test methodologies.
Collect and analyze test results, document findings, and support technical recommendations.
Partner with engineers during product development, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Maintain accurate laboratory records, test documentation, equipment logs, and calibration verification.
Are You An Experienced Electronics Test Technician Ready To Make An Impact?
Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a closely related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Demonstrated hands-on electronics laboratory or hardware testing experience.
Strong surface-mount PCB rework and soldering capabilities.
Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics independently.
Proficiency using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electrical sources/loads, and other electronics lab equipment.
Experience troubleshooting circuits and electronic assemblies at the hardware/component level.
Familiarity with environmental testing, test fixtures, wire harnesses, EMI/EMC testing, or data acquisition systems is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, troubleshooting ability, and comfort working collaboratively with engineers.
