Senior Employment Law Attorney

Compensation: $225,000–$275,000, depending on experience, plus a settlement bonus


Setareh Law Group is seeking a Senior Employment Law Attorney to manage and litigate plaintiff-side employment matters in California state and federal courts. The ideal candidate has substantial experience with wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters, and can lead cases from evaluation through resolution or trial.


Responsibilities

• Develop case strategy and manage an active employment litigation caseload.
  
  
• Draft and argue motions, handle discovery, take and defend depositions, and appear in state and federal court.
  
  
• Evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in mediation.
  
  
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff.
  
  
• Keep clients informed and ensure deadlines and court orders are met.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  
  
• Significant plaintiff-side employment litigation experience.
  
  
• Demonstrated experience with wage and hour, wrongful termination, and PAGA claims.
  
  
• Experience litigating in both California state and federal courts.
  
  
• Strong writing, advocacy, case management, and negotiation skills.
  
  
• Ability to independently manage complex matters and guide a legal team.
  
  

Compensation


The salary range is $225,000–$275,000, depending on experience, plus a settlement bonus.
