Position Overview

We're looking for a Senior Emulation Engineer to join our Consulting team in Cairo, Egypt.

Area of Responsibility

• Collaborate with a worldwide team of industry experts within the Consulting team, working with Siemens DISW customers on state-of-the-art technologies across various domains, including telecommunications, automotive, machine learning, and others.
• Work closely with customers and the sales organization to identify business needs and requirements.
• Architect and implement optimal solutions using Siemens DISW tools and methodologies.
• Apply strong technical expertise in the emulation domain to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Define and develop the consulting solutions and services provided to customers.
• Promote the team's offerings, capabilities, and technical expertise.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.

Your Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Practical experience with emulation flows using Veloce/VPS for compilation and runtime.
• Strong knowledge of design mapping, testbench mapping, and transactor development.
• Expertise in hardware/software debugging solutions related to the Veloce emulation flow.
• Proficiency in HDLs (Verilog/SystemVerilog) for RTL design and HVLs (SystemVerilog/UVM) for verification.
• Good understanding of functional verification and RTL synthesis.
• Knowledge of standard interface protocols such as PCIe, AMBA, UCIe, and/or DDR.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and/or Perl.
• Familiarity with data center hosting and cloud-based solutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• An outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies as needed.
• Ability and willingness to travel abroad for short- and long-term assignments.

Our Benefits & Rewards

The total cash compensation range for this position is $38,400 to $84,500 with 10% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
