    Summary / General Description of Position:ASRC Federal Cyber is looking for an Engineer to support the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Facility Operations and Readiness Centered Execution (GFORCE) program at Fort Greely, Alaska. This position plays a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of mission-critical infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of engineering experience in facilities, systems, or infrastructure environments, with a strong foundation in technical analysis, maintenance support, and compliance.

    Essential Duties and Job Functions

    Provide engineering support for operations, maintenance, and sustainment of mission-critical facilities and infrastructureAssist in planning, assessing, and executing preventive and predictive maintenance strategiesAnalyze system and equipment performance data to identify areas for improvementParticipate in technical inspections, walkdowns, failure investigations, and repair validationsSupport the development and review of maintenance procedures, reports, and facility assessmentsInterface with technicians, subcontractors, and government personnel to ensure technical issues are addressed effectivelyMaintain awareness of safety, environmental, and security protocols and ensure all engineering support is in complianceSupport coordination for third-party testing, upgrades, and warranty eventsProvide recommendations for process improvement, system upgrades, and lifecycle support planning

    Job Requirements: Mandatory

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field2-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on technical experienceMust possess a valid U.S. driver's licenseAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigationMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearanceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret and apply technical drawings, specifications, and manualsDemonstrated professionalism and sound judgment under pressure

    Preferred

    Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programsFamiliarity with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), preventive maintenance strategies, or DoD infrastructure standardsKnowledge of building systems, power generation/distribution, HVAC, or other complex facility systemsExperience with monitoring systems (e.g., PCMS, SCMS), maintenance planning, or field engineering supportFamiliarity with predictive and reliability-centered maintenance conceptsAbility to develop or review technical documentation, including reports, inspection findings, and maintenance proceduresExperience working in a remote or high-security environmentFamiliarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as Maximo
