Senior Engineer - Support nuclear operations

Rate : Not Defined / need Candidate's requested rateHours : Full Time 40 (4 days / 10 hr day)Duration: Long Term (w/option to go direct after 6 months, if desired)Mob / Demob : $500 each way ($1,000 total)Position Details: We are seeking a Mechanical/Civil Engineer to fill the position of Senior Engineer as they support nuclear operations in Richland, WA.Requirements:Civil or Mechanical engineering graduate and 12-15 years of related experience.P.E. License.Solid proficiency in Risa 3-D, or other FEA structural engineering software.Working knowledge of Inventor/AutoCAD, AISC Manual, FEA software, &Knowledge of steel design/detailing & fabrication practices.Knowledge of the nuclear power industry, associated terminology & paperwork is a plus.Knowledge of the crane & rigging field is a plus.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.Individual must be a self-starter with a solid work ethic.Desire to work in a small business environment.Desire to work in a “Hands-On” environment.Valid driver's license & a good driving record.Must have US work authorization.Credit check, criminal background check & drug testing required.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field requiredAdvanced degree or professional certifications preferredPhysical Requirements : Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities.
