Senior Engineer, Vehicle Access Systems

Technology is going to disrupt the automotive industrysignificantly in the next decade, and our organization is seeking high-potential candidates totransform the company with a focus on the customer experience.Lead the design/development of the following Vehicle Access devices/systems:RF receiver modules, RF transmitter key fob, ignition start/stop button, tire pressure monitoring systems, digital key systemsValidate the interfaces with other vehicle componentsUtilize system design approaches to meet and improve the functional requirements of Vehicle Access systemsInterface with Tier-1 suppliers to track program timing and deliverablesSupport module validation for assigned hardware and softwareSupport manufacturing builds at both supplier facilities and Stellantis vehicle assembly plantsMeet all vehicle program milestones and conduct all release processes within Stellantis related to the component and its interface within the vehicleRegulatory / Certifications:Support the Vehicle Development team with certifications and compliance for owned componentsCAD/Packaging:Support the module development teams in packaging their modules with multiple vehicle linesLocate modules in the vehicle, understand and communicate conflicts to module engineers & vehicle designersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline5 years of experience in Vehicle Access component development & releasingMust have experience with product development of passive entry, passive start, Digital Key Systems, Remote Key Entry (RKE) and tire pressure monitoring systemsExperience in CAN, LIN, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), NFC, and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technologiesVector CAN tools (CANalyzer or CANoe) related to CAN/CAN-FD vehicle bus networking protocolsReading and interpreting Electrical Engineering schematics and system level block diagramsExperience with vehicle level validationReviewing software code and test methods/reportsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline10 years of experience in Vehicle Access systems and component development & releaseFamiliarity with encryption algorithms, secure key management, and authentication protocolsUnderstanding of ISO/SAE 21434 and related automotive cybersecurity standardsIdentifying the gaps that reduce system cost, varying from component to process systemsProven track record in RF design and secure communication systemsKnowledge of digital key ecosystems and smartphone integration.Familiarity with functional safety and cybersecurity frameworks#J-18808-Ljbffr
