We are currently seeking a Senior Engineering Delivery Lead to join our team in Parsippany, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Job Description:
Role Overview:
  • We are looking for a Senior Engineering Delivery Lead who takes full ownership of delivery and operates with a high-agency, execution-first mindset.
  • This is not a coordination role. You are accountable for outcomes.
  • You will serve as the single point of accountability for delivery, owning execution from intake through release. You will work closely with engineering, product, and client stakeholders to ensure priorities are clear, commitments are met, and delivery is predictable.
  • You are expected to anticipate problems, drive alignment, and remove obstacles before they impact the team. You do not wait for direction—you create momentum.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery Ownership
  • 10+ years of experience owning end-to-end delivery across multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring commitments, timelines, quality, and business outcomes are achieved.
  • 8+ years of experience proactively identifying delivery risks, mitigating issues, and driving execution with urgency.
  • 8+ years of experience managing delivery status across multiple teams, products, and dependencies.
  • 8+ years of experience driving execution and ensuring delivery gaps are identified and resolved before impacting milestones.
  • Work Intake, Prioritization & Focus
  • 6+ years of experience establishing structured work intake, backlog governance, and prioritization frameworks.
  • 6+ years of experience prioritizing work based on business value, customer impact, and engineering capacity.
  • 5+ years of experience managing scope, protecting team capacity, and handling unplanned work.
  • 5+ years of experience managing changing priorities while maintaining delivery commitments.
  • Agile Execution Leadership
  • 8+ years of experience leading Agile delivery using Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.
  • 6+ years of experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • 4+ years of experience participating in Product Increment (PI) Planning and coordinating cross-team dependencies.
  • 6+ years of experience improving Agile maturity, delivery predictability, and team performance.
  • Client & Stakeholder Accountability
  • 8+ years of experience serving as the primary delivery contact for business and client stakeholders.
  • 6+ years of experience collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and client leadership on roadmaps, scope, and priorities.
  • 8+ years of experience managing stakeholder communication, delivery reporting, risk management, and executive updates.
  • 6+ years of experience building strong client relationships through ownership, transparency, and consistent delivery.
  • Engineering & Execution Alignment
  • 6+ years of experience partnering with Technical Leads and Architects to align engineering execution with delivery objectives.
  • 5+ years of experience translating business requirements into well-defined Epics, Features, and User Stories.
  • 6+ years of experience coordinating delivery across Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • 5+ years of experience managing release readiness and ensuring successful production deployments.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of overall experience in Software Development, Engineering Delivery, Technical Program Management, or SDLC.
  • 10+ years of experience leading Agile software delivery and engineering execution.
  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale engineering programs or product delivery.
  • 8+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams in Agile environments.
  • 6+ years of client-facing stakeholder management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, QA, and DevOps.
  • Strong technical foundation with prior software engineering or equivalent hands-on technical experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience managing ambiguity, competing priorities, and rapidly changing business environments.
  • Strong experience with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent.
Core Traits (Non-Negotiable)
  • High Agency – Demonstrated throughout 8+ years of delivery leadership.
  • Extreme Ownership – 8+ years of owning delivery outcomes end-to-end.
  • Execution Bias – Proven ability over 8+ years to consistently deliver results in fast-paced environments.
  • Client Leadership – 6+ years of managing client relationships and delivery accountability.
  • Resilience & Adaptability – Demonstrated ability over 8+ years to lead through ambiguity and changing priorities.
What Success Looks Like
  • Delivery is predictable, transparent, and consistently meets or exceeds commitments.
  • Teams remain focused, protected, and operate with high efficiency.
  • Stakeholders recognize the Delivery Lead as the single accountable owner for execution.
  • Prioritization remains disciplined and aligned with business objectives.
  • Risks and issues are identified early and resolved before impacting delivery.
