Senior Engineering Manager - Service Management
As a Senior Engineering Manager on the Service Management team, you will be responsible for insuring operational stability of assigned applications. Areas of focus: application stability, major incident restoration, incident and problem management, SOX and PCI compliance, holiday readiness, and disaster recovery. This role will work closely with the product and delivery teams to transition new or updated applications into production.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days at our Best Buy office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you'll do
* Ensure application stability specific to assigned Logistics and Supply Chain systems
* Manage major incident resolution and reduction specific to Logistics and Supply Chain systems
* Manage prioritization and resolution of Incident and Problem tickets for Logistics and Supply Chain systems
* Proactively drive and implement service improvements, innovations, and efficiencies within the scope of capabilities
* Share operations metrics/reports/data to key stakeholders and leadership, holding regular reviews with stakeholder group to assess the quality of services delivered
Basic qualifications
5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
1 year of experience managing or leading technical engineering teams
3 or more years of experience in
