Senior Engineering Manager
Hybrid
Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor engineering staff to design, implement, maintain, enhance and troubleshoot product delivery platforms
Direct engineering support across system locations for both established and emerging technologies while ensuring adherence to operating standards
Collaborate with Construction, Dispatch, Warehouse, Technical Operations and Care operations to optimize customer experience
Advise managers on technical operations and strategic planning for network rebuilds, operations, and new product development and deployment
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies and procedures and maintain relations with local utilities, vendors, contractors and government agencies
Oversee capital budget processes to ensure projects are cost-effective, on schedule and within budget
Provide quality assurance guidance to engineering staff in accordance with technical quality assurance standards and FCC regulations
Develop an effective front-line leadership team and support their growth to drive high performance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of project management and leadership work experience
3+ years of related leadership experience
7+ years of engineering fiber/coax or networking experience
Strong understanding of 5G architecture including Core and RAN components
Knowledge of automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis tools
Familiarity with ticketing systems and operational workflow
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure
