Description

Job Title: Senior Engineering Project Manager

Location: Spokane, WA

Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

Saxon is hiring a Senior Engineering Project Manager for a leading aerospace manufacturing client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional to lead complex projects from concept through production in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and manufacturing projects from design through production and customer delivery.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Review engineering drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), manufacturing documentation, and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, and industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of engineering project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, integration, and testing.
  • Proficiency with SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, or similar 3D CAD/PDM systems.
  • Experience working within AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, BOMs, manufacturing documentation, and aerospace manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
