Description

Job Title: Senior Engineering Technician
Location: North Reading, MA
Duration: 12-month contract
Payrate: $40 to $50 per hour

Job Description:
The client Hardware Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated, energetic, technically driven Engineering Technician to maintain ATE systems used for product development within the Semiconductor Test Division. Development occurs in a dynamic and challenging multi-site development environment. This individual will report directly to the Engineering Lab Support Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Support design and debug, implementation, test and deployment of analog, digital, DC, RF instruments for high volume ATE systems.
  • Maintain lab equipment calibration and functionality.
  • Work with Test Development, SW and HW engineers to ensure systems are set up to support different needs through the development of new products.
  • Hands-on execution of product integration and verification testing and debug.
  • Refine and create processes to improve efficiency and reduce system interruptions
Must Have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience and/or technical associate degree.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Technologies: Client/DAC, DDRx, PCIe, JESD, USBx
  • Development Tools: Cadence Tools, IBIS, Spice, HFSS, ADS
  • Lab Equipment: DMM, Oscilloscope, VNA, Waveform generator, signal analyzer
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to excellence, efficiency and product quality
