    Description

    IT - Senior Enterprise Administrator

    PURPOSE

    The Senior Enterprise Administrator for SMC IT provides advanced administrative support for enterprise-level platforms. This role collaborates closely with global, regional, and local IT teams to ensure the ongoing availability and performance of critical applications used by SMC. The individual also provides leadership and guidance on adopting and optimizing platform capabilities, ensuring SMC teams work efficiently and effectively within these systems.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Provide advanced administration of software applications, including making and consulting on approved changes to system configurations.
    • Be a trusted and knowledgeable resource for other global, regional, and local IT team members, providing guidance, coaching, and training on platform systems.
    • Ensure the SMC IT team is equipped to perform tasks such as configuration, integration, testing, requirements gathering, and solution design.
    • Proposes and implements process enhancements to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction
    • Develop systems integrations and process automation - fully utilizing the platform's workflow capabilities
    • Monitors system performance, generates reports, and provides insights into continuous improvement.
    • Configure Business Rules, Notifications, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting to optimize performance.
    • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to develop requested items and tasks, utilizing workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements, while also optimizing the User Experience.
    • Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
    • Provides ad hoc and scheduled training and assists IT teams in developing training sessions and workshops.
    • Conducts research and stays up to date with emerging trends and advancements to understand how to better serve the information technology needs of SMC.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Off-hour meetings and work to accommodate global time zones
    • Collaborative team environment in a shared workspace
    • General office, computer room, warehouse, and factory areas
    • Infrequent off-hours work and local/international travel as required
    • Able to sit for extended periods of time
    • Minimum lifting requirements of 15 pounds

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    ALL PLATFORMS

    • Associate degree or equivalent verifiable education/work experience
    • 10+ years of customer-facing IT experience in an enterprise environment
    • 5+ years' experience working in Microsoft 365 technologies
    • Experience in administering systems using PowerShell and scripting solutions to problems
    • Experience working with global teams is a plus
    • ITIL certification is a plus
    • Involvement in working directly with vendors, stakeholders, and end users
    • Expert in translating business requirements into technical solutions
    • Extensive Experience supporting the development and deployment of workflow solutions
    • Ability to travel abroad
