Position Summary
Kwaan Bear IT Solutions (KBITS) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Systems and Services Architect to provide technical advisory and architecture support to the Army’s I2TS office. The role supports delivery of enterprise networks, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity services, mission systems, and enterprise applications to allied and partner nations.
What You Will Do- Assess partner nation environments and translate operational needs into technical requirements, architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
- Develop and review integrated solutions spanning enterprise networks and backbone infrastructure, compute, storage, cloud, applications, and data.
- Advise on Zero Trust, identity and access management, endpoint protection, cyber defense, interoperability, and service resilience.
- Review vendor designs, evaluate alternatives, identify technical risks, and coordinate engineering and integration teams.
- Support ERP planning, legacy integration, data migration, testing, fielding, and sustainment.
- Provide technical inputs to FMS acquisition planning, program reviews, and Total Package Approach documentation.
- Adapt recommendations to partner nation requirements, infrastructure, resources, and operational capabilities.
Required Qualifications- Eight or more years of relevant architecture, systems engineering, or complex IT integration experience.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent additional professional experience.
- Senior technical leadership experience across enterprise networking, infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity.
- Ability to turn mission requirements into practical solutions and evaluate technical, security, cost, and sustainment tradeoffs.
- Strong advisory, writing, briefing, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications- FMS, security cooperation, or international defense delivery experience.
- Experience with network modernization, cloud, Zero Trust, ERP, or mission system integration.
- Applied experience with frameworks such as SABSA and TOGAF, or comparable methods; familiarity with NATO Architecture Framework, DoDAF, UAF, or relevant international standards.
- Relevant technical credentials, supported by demonstrated judgment and adaptability.
