Project Engineer you will be part of a team developing project proposals, providing technical oversight and leadership of design development tasks, including management of project and task scope, schedule, and budget.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Participate in project costing, proposal preparation, and client presentationsAnalyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, geologic data and other data to plan projectsPrepare or present reports, analyses including design calculations, field data results, conclusions and cost estimatesPlan, design and prepare, or direct preparation of high quality construction drawings and specifications of varied complexities in compliance with construction and government standards, using AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGISProvide technical guidance to other engineers including review of reports, design drawings, and specificationsTechnical review of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling analyses performed using software such as XP SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and Autodesk Storm and Sanitary AnalysisCoordinate and work collaboratively with project teams in meeting project objectives – technical scope, project/task budget, and deliverable schedulesConsistently utilize sound judgment and discretion in performance of job functions.Gather and record information to be used for writing specificationsParticipate actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsiteAdhere to the policies and standards set forth in the Firm's Quality Management SystemAssist Project Managers to define project scope, determine work procedures/sequences, and develop schedules, budgets, and staffing requirementsWork with the Project Manager to form a project work team and see that responsibilities are assigned and execution of tasks are begun and completed according to scheduleMaintain a continuing business relationship with clients as part of ongoing business development effortsYour starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:Bachelor's Degree (Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred) and 10+ years relevant experience.
