Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
4 years of environmental, health or safety experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Experience with computer systems such as spreadsheets and technical applications.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret EHS regulations and standards and other technical reports and data.
Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to write reports, correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete requirements in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret and apply Federal, VA state and local regulations.
