Senior Environmental Engineer
Provide manufacturing facility support for the ongoing compliance with environmental rules and regulations pertaining to air quality. Ensure that all control, monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements related to the area of responsibility are satisfied. Maintain internal relationships with refinery personnel and establish external relationships with regulatory representatives. Interact and coordinate construction projects with agencies, consulting firms, and contractors. Ensure compliance by developing and/or implementing compliance systems and tools. A high degree of auditing and data review is required.
Principle Responsibilities:
Specific job duties include overseeing the refinery air permitting and compliance, emissions monitoring (CEMS), and emissions source testing (stack testing and RATA testing) programs, refinery MACT compliance and reporting, and other environmental report development/implementation.
The successful candidate will have the ability to oversee multiple contractors and develop and maintain good working relationships within the refinery organization and with agency regulators. Timely preparation and submission of required reports, with coordinated input from relevant areas of expertise is necessary.
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
The salary range for this position is $106,787.51 - $176,060.47. The compensation range listed in this posting is in compliance with applicable state law. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills and internal peer equity will be considered in determining the selected candidate's compensation. Salaries at the time of hire are typically in the lower to middle portion of the above range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect future performance-based increases.
