Night shift- Thursday, Friday and Saturday- 4:30pm-5:30am

Pay Range:

$28.55 - $42.85

Position Highlights:

  • Location:Winston Salem, North Carolina

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma/GED and graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) in Neurodiagnostic Technology or 18 months experience in a related field required.
  • 3+ Years of experience as an Epilepsy Technologist.
  • Obtains R.EEG T., through the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).

What You'll Do:

  • Subject Matter Expert and assist other Epilepsy Technologist with complex or unique matters.
  • Performs the application and removal of electrodes.
  • Reviews data for seizure activity and abnormalities. Edits data for physician review.
  • Assists nursing staff with patients during seizures, maintaining patient safety.
  • Performs seizure testing with patients during their events.
  • Performs outpatient procedures such as PET, SPECT, Wada and Ambulatory studies.
  • Performs CEEG procedures in the ICU setting.
  • Performs intracranial monitoring in the EMU and OR.
  • Communicates with coworkers and physicians about changes in patient status.
  • Assists other areas of Diagnostic Neurology.
  • On call responsibilities for EEG.
