Senior ERP Developer
Location: Kansas City, MO
Employment Type: Long-Term Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior ERP Developer for a long-term contract opportunity in Kansas City, MO. This position will provide technical leadership in the design, development, integration, customization, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions.
The Senior ERP Developer will work closely with business analysts, functional teams, DBAs, integration teams, and project managers to deliver scalable ERP solutions while supporting modernization initiatives involving Oracle Cloud, automation, and enterprise application transformation.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex Oracle ERP development projects and provide technical direction.
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain scalable ERP solutions.
- Develop Oracle EBS customizations, integrations, reports, workflows, and interfaces.
- Write and optimize SQL/PLSQL code and troubleshoot complex application issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and production support.
- Coordinate software releases, deployments, testing, and enhancements.
- Establish and promote development standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams to translate business requirements into solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Support ERP modernization, cloud, automation, and integration initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite development experience.
- Strong Oracle ERP development and integration experience.
- Advanced SQL/PLSQL skills.
- Experience with ERP customization, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, ITIL, or similar environments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Cloud or hybrid ERP experience.
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience.
- Experience leading ERP upgrades or major implementations.
- Oracle certification.
- Experience mentoring junior developers.
