Overview

A growing construction-related organization is seeking a Senior ERP Implementation Accountant to lead a critical accounting system conversion initiative at a recently acquired business. The Senior ERP Implementation Accountant will play a key role in completing an active ComputerEase implementation, migrating historical and current project accounting data, and improving accounting processes within a fast-paced environment.

This Senior ERP Implementation Accountant opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who combines strong accounting knowledge with ERP implementation experience and can independently drive projects from assessment through completion.

Core Responsibilities

The Senior ERP Implementation Accountant will:

• Complete a partially implemented ComputerEase conversion project.
• 
  
• Migrate historical and current-year accounting and project data from legacy systems and manual records.
• 
  
• Validate data accuracy and reconcile converted information.
• 
  
• Work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
• 
  
• Establish accounting workflows and standard operating procedures.
• 
  
• Assist with job costing structures and construction accounting processes.
• 
  
• Support development of reporting tools and Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules.
• 
  
• Identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities.
• 
  
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and recommend solutions.
• 
  

Qualifications

Required

• 
  
• 4+ years of accounting, ERP implementation, accounting systems, or data migration experience.
• 
  
• Previous ComputerEase experience.
• 
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• 
  
• Experience with system conversions, implementations, or data validation projects.
• 
  
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• 
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• 
  

Preferred

• 
  
• Construction industry accounting experience.
• 
  
• Experience with job costing and WIP reporting.
• 
  
• CPA or CPA-track candidate.
• 
  
• Prior acquisition integration or ERP implementation experience.
• 
  
• Experience within high-growth or private equity-backed environments.
• 
  

Technical Skills

• 
  
• ComputerEase experience strongly preferred.
• 
  
• Experience with BusinessWorks, Sage, or similar accounting systems is a plus.

• Intermediate Excel skills for reconciliation and data validation activities.

• Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
