Senior Escrow Assistant

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Lead Escrow Assistant opportunity with a California-based provider known for its confidential, tech-driven, statewide escrow services. Upon hire to company's payroll, one will be subject to full Benefits and monthly bonus.

The Lead Escrow Assistant responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Assisting with opening new escrow files, collecting required documents, and entering data into escrow systems.
• Preparing, reviewing, and distributing escrow instructions, amendments, and related transaction paperwork.
• Maintaining communication with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and title officers to obtain necessary information and provide status updates.
• Ordering demands, payoffs, HOA documents, title reports, and other required items.
• Coordinating document signatures and ensuring all forms are properly executed and returned.
• Balancing files, preparing settlement statements, and assisting with disbursements.
• Ensuring all compliance, regulatory, and company policies are followed throughout the transaction.
• Providing administrative support, including file maintenance, scanning, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, lien releases, and wire verifications.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• Previous escrow experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years required.
• Knowledge of escrow procedures and closing processes, with the ability to manage files from start to finish.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with escrow software; knowledge of Qualia is preferred.

Pay Rate Range: $23.25 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
