The Senior Estimating Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the construction department, providing expertise in estimating and project coordination for property-related developments. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of construction processes to ensure successful project outcomes.Client DetailsOur client is a third-generation operation that has been in business for 60+ years as a full-service General Contracting company, servicing clients throughout the Long Island and the New York tri-state.DescriptionDuties & Responsibilities:Assign specific trades to each estimating coordinator to obtain and level pricing.Will obtain and level pricing on more technical trades not assigned to estimating coordinators.Review all plans and specifications for RFIs and creation of scope sheets.Review and level all proposals across all trades.Identify potential Value Engineering options/ Specification substitutions.Oversee leveling of all trades before presenting to management.Confirm Value engineering options.Approve all scopes as written by preconstruction coordinator for subcontractor agreements.Assist with T&M contract related work at the direction of leadership.
