The Senior Estimating Manageris responsible forleading the overall management of the bid process for a project.This roleis responsible forunderstanding the deliverables, developing a work plan, andidentifyingresources, while coordinating withinternalteamsto ensure compliance with the Request for Proposals (RFP).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field or equivalentrelevantexperience
A minimum ofseven (7) years’ experience inestimating forcommercial construction, minimum of two (2) years managing Estimators
Experience leading the bidding process for multiple complex projects
Experience with a variety of building types
Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction management, including safety, quality,constructabilityand sustainability standards
Leadership level communication and organization skills
Leadsbid assembly on large, complex pursuits
Applies deep understandingof complex trades such asdivision 2, 15and16to the estimating process
Maintainstrade partner/ supplier relationships; leveragestrade partnerand supplier relationships to inform business decisions
Utilizes knowledge of historical data from estimates / bids to use externally and for internal bid reviews
Utilizes lessons learned from the trade partner buyout process to improve business practices and minimize risk
Leadsproject meetings and client presentations
Provides oversight and guidance to Engineers/Sr Engineers/Estimating Managers (i.e.risk management, value engineering, constructability, general process,scopingand pricing feedback)
Conducts performancereviewsfor junior staff

The base salary (or hourly) range for this position is
$130,000.00 - $175,000.00DAVIS is committed to providing our employees with a competitive total compensation package that enhances your quality of life.
