Senior Estimator - Civil Construction
The Senior Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that support profitable project delivery and business growth.
- Lead estimating efforts for heavy civil, transportation, utility, and municipal infrastructure projects
- Analyze plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare complete project estimates
- Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing evaluations, and risk assessments to support winning pursuits
- Solicit, review, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor proposals to optimize project costs
- Collaborate with project management, operations, and executive leadership on bid strategy and project execution planning
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid packages while ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines
- Conduct site visits, constructability reviews, and pre-bid evaluations to identify project risks and opportunities

For the Senior Estimator - Civil Construction we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience estimating heavy civil, transportation, roadway, utility, site development, or municipal infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of civil construction means, methods, sequencing, and project costs
- Expertise in quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimating, competitive bid preparation, and risk analysis
- Experience evaluating subcontractor and supplier pricing for large-scale civil projects
- Proficiency with HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related estimating software
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple pursuits in a fast-paced bidding environment
