Senior EstimatorThis Senior Estimator role leads all preconstruction and estimating efforts across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects. You'll oversee a skilled estimating team, drive strategic pricing decisions, and partner closely with project leadership to win and deliver high-quality work.Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements.Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information.Evaluate and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with the budget throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and contracts.Provide input on value engineering opportunities to optimize project outcomes.Stay updated on market trends and pricing within the construction industry.A successful Senior Estimator should have:10+ years of experienceExperience running teams of multiple estimatorsA strong background in construction estimating with a proven track record of success.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess project requirements effectively.Proficiency in estimating software and tools commonly used in the construction industry.Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide and motivate a team.A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of current market conditions and trends in construction costs.What's on offer:Competitive annual salary up to $160,000 USD.Vehicle allowance of $500/monthFull healthcare benefits, including vision and dental401k and matchDiscretionary bonusJob summary:Sector: ConstructionSub Sector: EstimatorIndustry: PropertyLocation: GladstoneContract Type: Permanent
