Railroad Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a motivated, highly organized team player to join our Estimating Department in the Greater Boston/New England region. If you're passionate about construction, eager to gain hands-on experience, and ready to grow your career, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Analyze project documents for risk, schedule, and profitability.
Review plans/specs and prepare complete, accurate bid proposals.
Perform quantity take-offs and pricing for materials, subcontractors, and crews.
Compare current bids to historical data and manage post-bid documentation.
Build and manage project budgets and documentation.
Communicate with owners, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Visit project sites to evaluate methods and progress.
