Senior Civil Estimator – Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $120-150K depending on experience
We are helping a successful civil contractor look for an experienced Senior Civil Estimator to join our team in Phoenix. This role will focus on a variety of civil projects including CMAR, Design Bid Build, and Job Order Contracting. The right person will have a strong understanding of civil construction estimating, the ability to manage multiple bids at once, and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects (sitework, wwtp, grading, paving, underground utilities, etc)
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
Work with project managers, estimators and superintendents to develop scopes of work
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for pricing
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits
Track project budgets and timelines during the bidding process
Maintain organized records of bids and estimates
Qualifications
6+ years of experience as a civil estimator
Experience with CMAR, Design Bid Build, and/or Job Order Contracting highly preferred
Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and pricing
Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and organizational skills
