Senior EstimatorTake the next step in your career as a Senior Estimator with a rapidly growing, market-leading commercial contractor dominating the Houston market. This is a high-impact role where you'll own major bids, work directly with senior decision-makers, and help shape a strong pipeline of $5M-$20M projects-all while positioning yourself for accelerated career progression in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.As a Senior Estimator, you will report into senior preconstruction leadership and play a critical role in delivering accurate, competitive bids across a diverse project portfolio.Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects valued between $5M-$20MAnalyze construction drawings, specifications, and contract documentsPerform quantity take-offs and develop comprehensive pricing modelsSolicit, review, and qualify subcontractor bids and proposalsIdentify scope gaps, risks, and coordination issues during preconstructionMaintain cost databases and detailed Excel tracking modelsSupport proposal preparation, bid submissions, and client communicationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful Applicant3-5 years of estimating or preconstruction experience within commercial constructionDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredStrong understanding of construction documents, scopes, and technical drawingsProven experience estimating projects across multiple tradesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with construction software platforms (e.g., Procore) preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to manage subcontractor relationshipsHighly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlinesA proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhat's on OfferCompetitive compensation package - $100,000-150,000Company Bonuses - Annual & Project BasedVehicle Allowance w/ Gas CardExcellent benefits program that includes insurance and 401k matchOpportunity for fast-tracked career progression
