Senior Estimator

 JSG is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Newark Airport’s redevelopment. This full-time, on-site opportunity is perfect for professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment, working alongside top-tier engineering and construction teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects that make a real impact.
In this crucial role, you will analyze blueprints, prepare detailed cost estimates, lead early-stage cost modeling, and collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure accurate budgeting and cost control for high-profile projects including new air train systems, terminal planning, and landside infrastructure, helping transform one of the region’s busiest hubs.

Pay $175000/year

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5-7 years of MEP estimating experience, must have aviation projects
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, On-Screen takeoff, and SharePoint
• Solid understanding of cost estimate development, quantity takeoffs, and market pricing
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with infrastructure projects at major airports
• Familiarity with cost estimating databases and benchmarking
• Previous experience working with government authorities like the Port Authority of NY/NJ

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related field, with 5+ years of aviation experience
• Alternatively, 15+ years of relevant experience without a degree
