We are currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our client dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success in the construction industry. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on our projects, working closely with our team to ensure accurate and competitive cost estimates. The Permanent Senior Estimator will be a key player in our business development, helping us to secure new projects and maintain our reputation for excellence.

Base Salary - $110-125K (DOE) + Commission (you can make $175K+ a year)

Responsibilities
1. Developing comprehensive, detailed project cost estimates and budgets from conceptual design through to completion.
2. Reviewing and analyzing complex blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
3. Performing risk and contract management responsibilities as required.
4. Utilizing software such as Destini Estimator, McCormick Estimating, Microsoft Project, and Accubid for accurate and efficient estimating.
5. Participating in proposal preparation and client presentations.
6. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects during the estimation process.
7. Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and contracts.
8. Participating in project bidding, ensuring that all bids are submitted accurately and on time.
9. Conducting post-project cost analyses to improve future estimating practices.

Qualifications
1. A minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating.
2. Proven experience in budgeting, construction, negotiation, and project management.
3. Proficiency in Destini Estimator, Microsoft Project, McCormick Estimating, and Accubid.
4. A strong understanding of construction management and project bidding.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong communication and presentation skills.
7. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
8. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
