Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate budget development.
- Analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project needs.
- Maintain and update cost databases to reflect current market trends and pricing.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Monitor and adjust estimates throughout the project lifecycle to align with changes or unforeseen conditions.
- Prepare and present estimation reports to stakeholders for approval and decision-making.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Estimator should have:
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimation processes and tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Familiarity with industry-standard estimation software and tools.
