In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and peace of mind of our high-profile client and corporate executive. You will plan and execute comprehensive security measures, mitigate risks, and provide secure transportation, all while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Executive Protection Agent, your primary duty is to provide executive protection for the principal during their daily activities, business meetings, public events, and travel. You will conduct thorough risk assessments, route planning, and advance site surveys for all locations visited by the principal, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing proactive security measures. In your capacity as a Security Driver, you will operate company vehicles to provide safe, secure, and efficient transportation. This includes executing evasive driving techniques and careful route planning to avoid threats and ensure timely arrivals. You will continuously monitor environments for potential threats and respond rapidly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or medical situations. Additionally, the role requires conducting surveillance and counter-surveillance operations to detect and deter unauthorized access or suspicious activities. You will frequently liaise with corporate offices, venue security, and other relevant agencies to ensure seamless security operations. Above all, you must maintain absolute discretion and safeguard sensitive information pertaining to the principal and the organization. Qualifications and RequirementsCandidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in executive protection, corporate security, law enforcement, or military units. In accordance with state regulations, you must possess or be eligible to obtain a Minnesota Protective Agent License, which requires 6,000 hours of qualifying experience. As this is an armed position, you must hold a valid permit to carry a firearm in Minnesota and meet all state requirements for Armed Protective Agents, including required firearms training. LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) certification is highly desirable. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory, and advanced tactical or evasive driving certification is strongly preferred. Candidates must also hold current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED, with EMT or TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) certification considered a significant advantage. Industry-recognized certifications such as the ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Executive Protection Institute (EPI) credentials are a plus. You must maintain a high level of physical fitness and be capable of responding physically in emergency situations. The role demands flexibility, including the willingness to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, and availability for domestic and international travel. Corporate Experience & Program DocumentationThe ideal candidate will bring demonstrated experience operating within a corporate environment, with a clear understanding of how executive protection functions as an integrated component of a broader organizational security program. This role requires more than field proficiency - it demands the professional maturity to navigate corporate culture, engage effectively with senior leadership, legal, HR, and compliance stakeholders, and align security operations with the organization's values, policies, and risk tolerance. Candidates must be capable of developing, maintaining, and continuously improving formal program documentation. This includes drafting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), threat and risk assessment reports, advance survey reports, incident reports, and after-action reviews (AARs). All documentation must be produced to a professional standard, written with clarity and precision, and structured to support both operational use and executive review. A critical expectation of this role is the ability to align the executive protection program with the organization's broader governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) framework. The Senior Agent will be expected to contribute to security program governance by identifying gaps, proposing policy enhancements, and ensuring that all protective operations adhere to applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices - including those established by ASIS International. The following table summarizes the key documentation and governance competencies expected of candidates: Competency AreaExpected DeliverableRisk ManagementFormal threat and risk assessments (TRAs), vulnerability analysesOperational ProceduresSOPs, advance survey checklists, emergency response plansIncident ManagementIncident reports, after-action reviews (AARs), trend analysesProgram GovernancePolicy documents, compliance reports, program performance metricsExecutive CommunicationBriefing documents, risk summaries, and stakeholder presentationsKey SkillsSuccess in this role requires exceptional situational awareness, observational skills, and a calm demeanor that enables sound, rapid decision-making under extreme pressure.
