Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for an Senior F/A-18 Systems Engineer to support the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. This program provides critical current and future capabilities in the form of total life cycle support management (cradle to grave) for the F/A-18A-D Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18 G Growler weapons systems. PMA-265 is responsible for acquiring, delivering, and sustaining the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft, ensuring mission success for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviators, as well as international partners to include Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Spain and Switzerland.

Education: Must have a Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university; ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience
Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required.
Highly desired to have airworthiness experience and be familiar with NAVAIR airworthiness requirements, flight clearances, and safety of flight.
Experience with F/A-18 Hornet/Super Hornet or EA-18G Growler aircraft is highly desired.
