Our client operates from their state-of-the-art facility in the Greater Los Angeles Area, delivering comprehensive, end‑to‑end capabilities across additive manufacturing, research and development, and engineering. The organization's core mission is to accelerate the adoption and scaling of metal additive manufacturing for complex, high‑performance applications within the defense, aerospace, and energy sectors. By integrating industry‑leading laser powder bed fusion (L‑PBF) technology with deep expertise in metallurgy, metrology, and production engineering, Our client provides a secure, high‑reliability environment that enables customers to mature additive technologies from concept through full-rate production. The facility is designed to support advanced manufacturing demands while meeting stringent regulatory, quality, and security requirements critical to mission‑driven industries.

Within this environment, the Senior Facilities Building Engineer is responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and long‑term scalability of all site infrastructure supporting advanced additive manufacturing operations. The role extends beyond traditional facilities maintenance to include full engineering ownership of critical systems such as HVAC, process chillers, inert gas and compressed air distribution, and industrial power infrastructure. This position leads infrastructure planning, capital upgrades, and system integration while developing robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs supported by CMMS data and performance analytics. The Senior Facilities Building Engineer drives uptime, mitigates operational risk through root cause analysis, ensures compliance with OSHA, AS9100, and ISO14001 standards, and serves as the primary technical authority for facility systems. The role requires a highly hands‑on engineercapable of managing vendors and internal resources, responding to facility emergencies, supporting production needs, and strategically scaling infrastructure to meet future growth in a secure, high‑responsibility manufacturing environment.

Candidates must be US Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance. Relocation assistance may be considered for this position from within the US. This is an on-site position.

Base Salary Projection: $145K - $180K DOE
