We are seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to join our oil and gas operations team. This role is responsibleforthedesign,operation,optimization,andintegrityofsurfacefacilitieswithastrongfocus on compression systems and gas plant operations. The successful candidate will also play a key role in integrating new field acquisitions — evaluating existing infrastructure, identifying improvement opportunities, and bringing assets up to company standards efficiently and safely.JobResponsibilities CompressionSystems Monitorandoptimizecompressionperformance atmajorcompressionfacilities,booster stations, etc. (suction/discharge pressures, throughput, fuel gas, run times, equipment recommendations) to maximize production and minimize downtime.Developandoverseepreventivemaintenanceprograms atmajorcompressionfacilitiesas needed, coordinate with field operations and third-party vendors.Evaluatecompressionneedsfornewandexistingwells,preparehorsepowersizingstudies,and manage equipment procurement for large compressor designs and purchases.GasPlant&SurfaceFacilities Manageday-to-dayoperationsandintegrityofgasprocessingandtreatingfacilities,including dehydration & amine treating facilities, NGL recovery and treating, and gas lift systems.Overseeproducedwaterhandling,fluidseparationequipment,tankbatteries,andassociated piping and instrumentation.Ensurefacilitiescomplywithapplicableregulatoryrequirementsandcompany safety/environmental standards.Coordinatewithoperations,HSE,andregulatorypersonneltomaintainpermitsandreporting compliance.Developandexecutecapitalandexpenseprojectsfromscopingthroughcommissioning, managing design/scope, schedule, and budget.NewAcquisitions&AssetIntegration Lead facilities duediligencefor prospective acquisitions —assess compressioninventory, processingplantconditions,pipingintegrity,instrumentation,anddeferredmaintenance.Developdetailedexecutionplansforacquiredassets,includinggapanalyses,capitalforecasting, and phased workover/upgrade schedules.Establishoperationalbaselinespost-closeanddriveassetstofullproductioncapabilityon schedule.Interfacewithseller'stechnicalteamsduringtransitionperiodstoensuresmoothknowledge transfer.Standardizefacilitiesequipment,documentation,andproceduresacrosslegacyandacquired assets.Reviewandapproveengineeringdrawings,P&IDs,equipmentdatasheets,andvendor documentation.Collaboratecross-functionallywithdrilling,completions,production,land,andfinanceteams.Maintainandimprovetechnicaldocumentation,operatingprocedures,andequipmentrecords in company systems.Qualifications Required Bachelor'sdegreeinmechanical,Chemical,Petroleum,orrelatedEngineeringdiscipline.7–10yearsoffacilitiesengineeringexperienceinoilandgasfieldoperations.Demonstratesexpertiseinvariouscompressionequipment(reciprocating,centrifugal,screw, etc.) — sizing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Hands-onexperiencewithgasplantoperations:dehydration,aminesystems,NGLrecovery,or similar.Proficiencyinengineeringcalculations,P&IDinterpretation,andprocesssimulationconcepts.Solidunderstandingofoilfieldsafetystandards,PSM,andenvironmentalregulations.Strongprojectmanagementskillswithdemonstratedabilitytodeliverprojectsontimeand within budget.Preferred ExperiencewithSCADA,RTU,andfieldinstrumentationsystems.Familiaritywithregulatoryframeworks(EPA,OSHA,stateoilandgascommissions)relevantto assigned operating area.Workingknowledgeofgascontracts,midstreaminterfaces,andcommercialagreements.Thispositionrequiresregulartraveltofieldlocations,includingremotesites.Candidatesmustbeableto workoutdoors invaryingweatherconditions, navigateactivewell sites,and occasionallywork extended hours during acquisition integrations, turnarounds, or operational emergencies.
