A System Healthcare Planner has developed a well-rounded architectural or engineering foundation and has discovered a passion for specific aspect of projects around healthcare planning. Project experience may range from small to large, complex projects. A System Healthcare Planner has experience with healthcare projects through all phases of design and specifically, the planning phase and with further exposure may become an expert in this part of the practice. Healthcare planners are design oriented and care deeply about managing the process of projects. Reports directly to the System Associate Director, Facilities Design and Construction.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and/or Engineering strongly desired, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a licensed architect or engineer.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of architectural or engineering experience working on all phases of healthcare projects. Understand the nuances of planning models. Proficiency with MS Office, Revit, Creative Suite, Outlook and rendering programs preferred. Knowledge of BIM Revit that allows for efficient and effective management and staffing of project(s). Familiarity with FGI Guidelines.
LICENSURE:
- Architectural or Engineering license is desirable.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Extensive walking in the construction site, climbing ladders and scaffolds, continual visual observation of the work, verbal and audible participation in meetings and usual construction office.
